REV. RHONDA VAUGHN
Rev. Rhonda Vaughn accepted her calling at the early age of 11 years old and was licensed into the gospel ministry at the age of 16 years old by the late Pastor Dr. Virginia Barnett. Rev. Vaughn has always been multi-talented and assisted the church with record-keeping, music, and accounting. She also served in ministry as the financial secretary, musician, Sunday School teacher, and Vacation Bible School teacher before going to college on a scholarship and obtaining a degree in Religious Studies, with a concentration in New Testament Studies and African Religions at the University of Virginia.

In 2000, she was ordained and accepted a leadership position at The House of Deliverance in Newport News, Virginia as the Director of Education, Team leader for Business Development, Women’s Ministry Coordinator, Praise Team singer, Minister’s Council member, etc. In addition, she developed and implemented job descriptions, rules, and regulations for the Youth, Nursery,
and Education Departments of the ministry.
God sent Rev. Vaughn back to Immanuel, and in 2010 she was ordained and serve as Assistant Pastor under Dr. Virginia Barnett's leadership. From 2010 to 2019, Rev. Vaughn served as adjutant, Ministry Director of Finance, and Women's Ministry Coordinator. It was in 2016 Dr. Barnett began to prepare Rev. Vaughn as the Senior Pastor..and a visionary. She was officially ordained as Pastor on January 26, 2019. Rev Vaughn has a calling to train disciples in their five- fold ministry gifts and is executing the mission statement of the Church, carrying out the late Pastor Barnett's vision.
